Huskiana Press was founded in 2019 by Professor Ryan Cordell, who provided Northeastern with a wonderful letterpress suite to support creative and scholarly projects. Ryan recently took a position at the University of Illinois iSchool, where we know he’ll continue to do innovative work with printing technologies.
The new directors include myself, Jessica Linker, and Isabel Sobral Campos. We’re very excited about this partnership and have already begun thinking together about programming for Northeastern and the broader Boston community. We anticipate using the fall semester to take inventory, hire some work study students, and to familiarize ourselves with the space as we navigate Covid-related contingencies. But please watch this space for updates on small projects, as well as future announcements about events and workshops.
